Description
The Djibouti 2,000 Francs with a pick number P-43a.1 was issued in 2008 by the National Bank of Djibouti. The note comes in blue, green, and yellow combinations and has Arabic and French texts. Centered on the obverse is a camel caravan. The paper bill also displays a young girl on the right and rock settlements in the background. The reverse of the 160 x 80 mm paper bill bears an effigy of a man with a shield and a spear. The Presidential Palace is also shown. The notes security features include a solid security thread and a watermark that consists of the national emblem and an electrotype BCD. This particular uncirculated banknote is authenticated.
