Description

The Djibouti 1,000 Francs Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Djibouti in 2005. The note has a color combination of red, blue, and yellow. Its obverse features politician Ali Ahmed Oudoum, a camel, tram cars, and men with shovels. The reverse of the note depicts gantry cranes and container ships at a port. The note contains a solid security thread and bears a watermark that reflects the coat of arms and an electrotype BCD. The banknote is 155 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Ahmed Osman Ali. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
