Description

The Djibouti 1,000 Francs was issued by the National Bank of Djibouti in 2005 with a pick number P-42. The banknotes obverse features a camel, men with shovels, and tram cars. The note also displays a portrait of politician Ali Ahmed Oudoum. On the back are container ships and cranes. A port can also be seen in the background. The banknote measures 155 x 70 mm and comes in red, yellow, and blue schemes. It bears a solid security thread and a watermark that shows the countrys coat of arms and an electrotype BCD. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
